Nathan is an experienced software developer with a passion for developing web based applications using the Java/Spring MVC/Hibernate stack. He also has experience building web front-ends for legacy VMS systems. Prior to joining Field Expert, Nathan developed J2EE applications for US Steel.
As a trainer, Nathan consistently receives excellent evaluations from his students and is frequently requested by name. He has taught for a wide range of companies including Wal-Mart, Abercrombie & Fitch, Boeing and Wells Fargo, among many others.
Joe Gallo is one of the most enthusiastic technologists you'll ever meet, and his students often compliment that his enthusiasm is contagious. Joe is especially fond of open source technologies including Java, Linux (Gentoo at the moment), and the Prototype and JQuery JavaScript libraries.
Joe helped to build and currently maintains inventory management software used by restaurant chains across North America including Boston Market and Chipotle, among others. Joe enjoys solving the problems presented by supply chain management, and he brings this experience to the classroom as a corporate trainer.
Born in England, raised in Canada and proud to now call the USA home, Matt brings a worldly perspective to Field Expert. With nearly two decades of experience working with technology, Matt has had an opportunity to develop software for a wide range of companies.
Before joining Field Expert, Matt was an IT Tech Lead for Fedex. There he oversaw the development of some of Fedex's most highly used and mission critical applications. Today Matt enjoys delivering technical training sessions to Field Expert's customers. His experience as both a software developer and project leader have given Matt a solid appreciation of the technology challenges faced by programmers and managers alike. This experience is evident by anyone who has had the pleasure of attending training with Matt.
Prior to joining Field Expert, Mike spent six years developing software and consulting for a number of organizations across the country, including Union Switch and Signal, Hewlett Packard, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Today Mike delivers technology training to Field Expert's customers across the United States and Canada, with a focus on Microsoft's .NET technology stack.
Michael has been developing software for the past fifteen years, and delivering technical seminars for the past ten. He has a passion for solving problems and loves the freedom that software development provides for doing so. As a software developer, Michael has experience building desktop applications with Visual Basic, web based applications with the Java/Spring MVC/Hibernate stack, and most recently iPhone applications in Objective-C.
Our customers appreciate the mix of technical know-how and people skills that Michael possesses. He has trained for some of the largest organizations in North America including Nationwide Insurance, Fedex, Lockheed Martin and the Internal Revenue Service, to name a few.
Prior to joining Field Expert in 2006, Rachel developed psychological research software for the medical industry. Developing psychology software refined her skills as both an adept software developer, as well as a highly skilled communicator.
Today Rachel splits her time between developing custom business software for Field Expert's customers, delivering technical training seminars for companies across North America and writing courseware for upcoming classes. McKesson, Alcoa, US Steel and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation are among the organizations that have benefited from training with Rachel.
